NEW SHOOTER HANDGUN BASICS / 8Am - 12Pm, 1 MAR 2025, RANGE 2 bay 1, SAC VALLEY SHOOTING CENTER
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This small class course is open to anyone who wants to learn safe gun handling and understand the mechanics and psychology of shooting a pistol. At ONE on ONE Firearms, we’ve developed a unique system for teaching students the foundational skill sets required to become a safe new shooter. We will cover everything from gun safety to the laws revolving around owning, and operating firearms, the fundamentals of relative and rapid marksmanship, as well as reloading and malfunction clearing in a SAFE and FUN learning environment!

Range fees of $25 are the responsibility of the student, and can be paid directly to your Instructor on range day.
COURSE OPEN TO: Open to anyone, at any skill level, and ability.

GEAR & OTHER ITEMS
Students should bring the following items to this course.
- A note pad and pen
- Water
- $25 for the Sac Valley Shooting Center range fee
- A folding chair (for break time on the range)
- The handgun that you intend to shoot with. If you don't yet own a handgun, we can rent one and sell you ammo for the class for an additional fee. $25 Gun Rental & $40 Ammo
- At least two functional magazines for each semi-automatic pistol and/or at least one functional speed loader for each revolver - the more, the better
- Eye and ear protection
- Ammo - 100rds
- Clothing appropriate for a RAIN or SHINE, outdoor, dirt surface range
- Sunscreen
- A hat
- A great attitude!
